So lasst es sich aushalten! (This is the good life)!

Hallo to all the family. I have finally figured out how to blog (horaay)! Just to update those of you who do not know where I am or what I am doing. I have been living in Germany, in the tiny town of Osterholz-Scharmbeck (do not even try to say it...it's not worth your time :)  for the past year with my American compadre Kristin! After a long wait we finally beat the German government system and got a work visa so that I can earn some much needed euros!  My Deutsch continues to be nicht so gut, but I have accepted the fact that I will never be able to understand (let alone speak) this silly language (no offense)! I have also been playing a bit of soccer and the past two months of summer I spent traveling around and seeing the amazing history and beauty of some of Europe. My journey's included; Prague, Munich, Austria, Italy--Venice, Cinque Terre, Almafi Coast (Sorrento, Positano, Capri, and Pompeii), Rome, and Florence, Croatia (Split, Hvar, and Zagreb), and Paris. I also have had the opportunity to go to the Netherlands a few times where I get to see Marie Anne and Hans who show me nothing short of a great time. There has been many more adventures, but I will not bore you with them now. I hope everybody is doing well and enjoying the sunshine (which I hear has finally come out in Washington).
